An ESG report is not a brochure
Regulators, auditors, lenders, investors, and buyers review an ESG disclosure looking for verified numbers. They will notice immediately if the data is missing, mathematically inconsistent, or insufficient for regulatory ESG compliance.
Our sustainability reporting services build reports from verified data upwards. That means the assessment and data work comes first, and the writing comes last.
Book a consultationWho needs ESG reporting, and why now
| Your situation | What is expected of you |
|---|---|
| You are a listed company in India | SEBI mandates BRSR reporting, with a core set of BRSR Core indicators subject to reasonable assurance. |
| You supply a listed company | Your customer needs value chain data from you to complete their own disclosure. This increasingly arrives as a hard deadline, not a request. |
| You export, particularly to the EU | Buyers require carbon data, deforestation-free evidence, and social audits to maintain trade terms and prove supplier ESG compliance. |
| You are raising capital or being acquired | Investors and acquirers run strict ESG due diligence. A credible ESG disclosure shortens that process considerably. |
| A hospital, institution or large private company with no mandate | Nothing is compulsory, but insurers, lenders, corporate clients and accreditation bodies are asking. Voluntary reporting is how you get ahead of it. |
| Nobody has asked yet | This is the cheapest and calmest time to build the system. Everything after this happens under a deadline. |
Which ESG reporting framework applies to you
| Framework | Who it is for | What it gets you |
|---|---|---|
| BRSR reporting (BRSR Core) | Listed Indian companies and their suppliers | The Indian regulatory requirement. Non-negotiable if it applies to you. |
| GRI reporting (GRI Standards) | Any company, especially with global buyers | The most widely recognised international reporting language. |
| IFRS S1 & S2 (incorporating SASB standards) | Companies with international investors | Investor-focused disclosure on sustainability and climate risk. |
| Buyer or customer format | Suppliers filling in a specific brand’s template | Getting through vendor onboarding. Narrow, but usually the most urgent. |
| Voluntary report | Unlisted companies with no mandate yet | Credibility with banks, buyers and staff, on your own timetable. |
How we build your ESG report
Every report follows the same discipline, whatever the framework. As your ESG reporting consultant, we build each disclosure to survive independent audit.
- Scope and boundary: Which entities, which sites, which period.
- Materiality assessment: What genuinely matters to your business and stakeholders.
- Data collection: Structured against every disclosure the framework requires.
- Validation: Every number cross-checked against bills, registers and site observation.
- Drafting: Written for the people who will read it, methodology in annexures.
- Design and delivery: A publication-ready document, plus data book and evidence pack.

Assurance readiness for your ESG reporting
If your ESG disclosure requires third-party assurance, auditors will examine the operational trail behind every single number. We build that audit trail directly into the process, mapped strictly to the standards required for verified ESG compliance.

CASE STUDY: HEALTHCARE
Multi-facility hospital group, Kerala
The engagement
A full engagement cycle across several facilities: as-is assessment, materiality assessment, ESG strategic framework and sustainability report.
The problem
ESG data sat across clinical, engineering, housekeeping, HR and procurement with no single owner.
What we did
The report was built alongside the materiality assessment, so the disclosures reflected what patients, staff and the community actually cared about, not a generic checklist of topics.
Also delivered
A GRI-aligned ESG report with independent limited assurance for an Ayurvedic teaching hospital in Coimbatore, an inaugural GRI-aligned report for a Kozhikode footwear manufacturer, and an event sustainability report for a major Kerala technology and startup event.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a report take?
For a first report with no existing data system, plan for three to four months. If the assessment and data collection have already been done, the report itself takes six to eight weeks.
We already have a draft. Can you just review it?
Yes. We do standalone reviews, gap analyses against BRSR reporting or GRI reporting frameworks, and pre-assurance readiness checks.
Do you write the report or do we?
We write it. You review, correct and approve. The disclosures are yours, so nothing is published without your sign-off.
What if our data has gaps?
We flag them in the report rather than filling them in.
Can you also handle the design?
Yes. You receive a designed, publication-ready document.
