How we work

Too many sustainability claims are written first and proved later. We work the other way round.

Sooner or later a buyer, an auditor or a regulator asks where a number came from. Our work is to make sure there is an answer: the data, the verification on site, and the trail that links them.

It is why we built SIM, our own rating, and why it refuses to guess.

How SIM works

Questionnaire. Your team answers a structured ESG questionnaire, captured in Pulse, our assessment platform.
Evidence. An answer counts only when there is evidence behind it.
Site visit. We verify the answers on site.
Weighted score. Basic practice counts three times, intermediate twice and advanced once, so the foundations weigh most. The score earns one of five SIM badges.

The five SIM badges

Planet Paragon, Sustainability Specialist, Eco Explorer, Green Guardian and Nature Novice. Supplier ratings use their own five tiers: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Committed.

Where the trail is kept

Four platforms hold the data: Pulse for assessments, Karbon for Scope 1 to 3 carbon accounting with regional CEA grid factors, Bridge for suppliers and Lenz for the ESG dashboard.
